Anderex & Mutilator – HOT SAUCE

(FR) « Anderex est pour moi LA révélation (avec So Juice) parmi tous les rookies de Gearbox Digital. HOT SAUCE est une association réussie entre deux univers brutaux et chargés de violence qui se déversent dans un mélange de kicks assourdissants et lourds, en gardant ce côté fun et non sensé que peuvent avoir certains morceaux de ce genre. Une petite perle pour bien commencer cette année 2021 pour laquelle il serait vraiment dommage de passer à côté. »

Myst – Bliss

(FR) « J’ai découvert Myst assez récemment grâce à ses collaborations avec Adaro et B-Front. J’ai appris à le connaître notamment par des titres tels que Walk With Kings et Overloader qui sont des véritables boules d’énergie. C’est tout naturellement qu’il revient ce mois-ci avec Bliss, une composition qui m’a particulièrement touchée.
Le morceau, qui fera partie de son album « Trinity », est emmené par un violon à la mélodie envoûtante et quelques voix qui ponctuent une base très énergique. Quant au break, il est tout simplement stratosphérique ! Je ne m’en lasse pas. »

(EN) “I discovered Myst quite recently thanks to his collaborations with Adaro and B-Front. I happen to get to know him through his titles such as Walk With Kings and Overloader which I think are pure energy balls. Evidently, he is back this month with Bliss, a composition that particularly moved me.
Included in his album “Trinity”, the track is led by a violin providing a bewitching tune, not to mention the voices that accompany a very energetic base. As far as the break is concerned, it is simply out of this world! I can’t get enough of it.”

D-Fence – Brainshock

(FR) « D-Fence est un artiste que j’ai découvert au festival Q-BASE en 2017 et qui depuis n’a cessé de me surprendre avec ses sorties toujours plus déjantées les unes que les autres. Avec son dernier titre en date Brainshock l’artiste nous fait partager son émotion du moment qui est, je pense, la même pour tous les amoureux de Hard Music.
Avec des paroles puissantes et toute une variété de sonorité dont le DJ a le secret, D-Fence nous donne un électrochoc, un stimulus dont nous avons bien besoin pour affronter cette dure période sans festival. »

Hyrule War- Isolated House Party

(FR) « Hyrule War est un artiste que je suis plus ou moins, mais qui me fascine tout particulièrement dans son duo déjanté avec Sprinky, Super Trash Bros. Isolated House Party fait partie d’un EP de deux morceaux, aux côtés de The Virus.
En ce début d’année morose, rien de tel qu’un bon morceau bien violent qui donne la pêche dès les premières secondes d’écoute grâce à ses kicks et drops bien gras, comme on les aime.
Néanmoins, ce qui m’a beaucoup plu dans ce titre, c’est le changement brutal d’atmosphère au milieu du morceau ; l’ambiance n’est plus du tout la même et on se retrouve transporté dans un autre univers, avec des sonorités qui ressembleraient à de la House. Un mélange audacieux, mais habillement réussi qui n’est autre qu’une ode à la fête, en festival ou… chez soi ! »

(EN) “Hyrule War is an artist whom I follow more or less closely, but who definitely fascinates me in with his partner in crime Sprinky in their crazy duo Super Trash Bros. Isolated House Party is part of a two-track EP, alongside The Virus.
For this beginning of year rather bleak, it just feels so damn good to listen to a brutal track that just lifts your spirits up in a matter of seconds thanks to bold kicks and drops, just the way we like it.
However, what I found particularly interesting in this title is that the atmosphere just changes abruptly in the middle of the track, it’s totally different! We are taken away to another universe, with sonorities close to House. A bold mix although skillfully created, which is nothing short but an ode to partying, whether it be in festivals or… at home!”

Damien RK – How I Feel

(FR) « Alors oui, ce n’est pas exactement sorti en janvier (le 31 décembre ça compte quand même ?) mais l’émotion de ce titre trouve une résonnance toute particulière en moi. Les paroles sont une déclaration d’amour au public qui a continué à suivre et soutenir les artistes durant cette période compliquée. La voix me transcende (pour les curieux c’est aussi celle que l’on entend sur Reborn de Devotion). L’énergie me rappelle instantanément ces souvenirs de soirées, de festivals et me redonne l’espoir d’y retourner. »

(EN) “Alright, so technically the track wasn’t released in January (come on, December 31st is close enough, right?) but the emotion conveyed in this track just shakes me to my very core. The lyrics are a declaration of love to the public who kept on following and supporting their favorite artists during this complicated period. The voice transcends me (for all of those out there who are curious, it is the same voice as the one in Reborn, Devotion’s track). The energy felt instantly makes me recollect moments spent in events or festivals, and that just lifts my hopes up to be able to go back there.”
